We want to make sure that you and your dancer's Showstopper performance is an unforgettable dance experience. And we never stop looking for ways to do it better.

More Groups will participate in our
WEBTV show on the last day of the Finals! Now the top 80 Groups, including the top ten Small Groups in Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior, and the combined top ten Large/ Super Groups in Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior will compete for National Honors! It's a special day with our Teachers Red Carpet Walk, Opening Number, and Emmy Award nominated quality that's the hallmark of a Showstopper Event!

Easiest entry on the planet! And it's getting better. Just log on to the Teachers Information Center at www.showstopperonline.com/teachers_corner/ and all your regional entries including dance students' names and birth dates are displayed (even if you didn't enter the regionals online!) You can print all your Students' Itineraries, an “At a Glance” schedule and much more. And for finals, you can easily choose, edit and submit! It's so easy, and much less work!

Submit your music by E-Mail, I-Pod, Flash Drive, CD or Tape. Practically any way you wish, whatever is easiest for YOU!

And if you missed us last year, here are the exciting new changes we started in 2008!

  • Calculating ages is easier! All competition ages will be the dancer's age as of January 1 for both regionals and nationals, so just drop the decimal point when averaging! The exception is for solos, whose ages, out of fairness, are as of the competition date.

  • A time limit of 4:00 minutes for Large and Super Groups!

  • Now with a new awards levels; introducing Double Platinum!

  • Substitutions of 50% or fewer dancers from your studio in a Duet/Trio or Group will be allowed at our Nationals.

  • Video flash drive critiques at all our events, convenient and easy for you to watch!

  • All Production Groups at our Finals are automatically part of our new PRODUCTIONMANIA! ® live webcast show with its own Master of Ceremonies, special overall awards and all the Showstopper bells and whistles!

  • Also at Finals, our new Excellence in Dance awards for every category of dance!
