Britney Spears
Not much else can be added about Britney's career that hasn't already been said except that like many of you now, she too was once an aspiring dancer and Showstopper competitor.This could be where she learned that whether on stage in front of 20,000 fans at Madison Square Garden or in front of your family and friends on a Showstopper stage, you have to give it your all and hope for the best.

Circus is the sixth studio album by American pop singer Britney Spears. The first single "Womanizer", became Spears's first #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 since her debut "...Baby One More Time", almost 10 years prior. The second single will be the title track of the album, "Circus".

Beyonce Knowles
Everyone knows Beyonce Knowles by now! Beyonce danced in the Showstopper Houston competition long before she was a diva.
Knowles rose to fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of girl group Destiny's Child and went to sell over 50 million records worldwide with the group. After a series of commercial successes with the group, Knowles released her debut solo album, Dangerously in Love, in June 2003. The album became one of the most-successful albums of that year, spawning the number-one singles "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy". She released her second album, B'Day, in 2006, which contained the UK #1 singles "Deja Vu" and "Beautiful Liar", which she performed with Shakira and the worldwide hit "Irreplacable". Knowles released her third solo album, I Am... Sasha Fierce, on November 18, 2008. Beyonce has expanded her career to acting and product endorsement. In 2006, she starred in the comedy film The Pink Panther, and, in the same year, played the lead role in the film adaptation of the 1981 Broadway musical Dreamgirls, for which she receivd a Golden Globe nomination. Continuing her growing film career with the upcoming release of Cadillac Records, Knowles will also star opposite Ali Larter and Idris Elbra in a thriller film called Obsessed. Keri Russell
You may recognize her from her award-winning role on TV's Felicity, but before Keri Russell became a star, she was a Showstopper. A Denver, Colorado native, Russell stepped across the stage of Showstopper many times throughout her childhood performing with Lisa Holtz Star Struck Dance Studio. Before moving on to the small screen, Russell also performed as a Disney Mouseketeer.In 2005, Keri played in the movie "Mission: Impossible III and in the summer of 2006, she was chosen to be a celebrity spokeswoma for "CoverGirl" Cosmetics. In the summer of 2007, Keri appeared in the "The Keri Kronicles, a reality show/sitcom sponsored by "CoverGirl" and airing on Myspace; the show was filmed at Russell's home in Manhattan and spotlighted her life.Russell next appeared in "August Rush", a drama released in November 2007, and the thriller "The Girl in the Park", opposite Sigourney Weaver, Kate Bosworth, and Alessandro Nivola.

Russell has recently joined the cast of "Bedtime Stories" with Adam Sandler playing the lead. She has been confirmed to provide the voice of Wonder Woman in a direct to DVD animated feature to be released March 3rd, 2009.




LeAnn Rimes
Before becoming the Singing Mega Super Star she is, LeAnn was a member of the Center Stage School of the Performing Arts in Ridgeland, MS. Her first national competition was at Showstopper at the age of 4! She did a song & dance number to "Getting to Know You" with her powerful and emotional voice. Even at such a young age, it was obvious she was destined for the 'big time'.

Her debut single, "Blue" was released when she was only 13 years old. By the age of 24 she had sold over 37 million albums. She has won an American Music Award, two Grammy Awards, three Academy of Country Music Awards, and twelve Billboard Music Awards.

Leann holds three important achievements in the music industry: the youngest person to win a Grammy; the first country artist to win the Grammy for Best New Artist; and her version of How Do I Live is the longest charting song on the U.S. Hot 100 at 69 weeks.

Jessica King
Jessica is a dancer from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina who was a contestant on the fourth season of the Fox reality television show So You Think You Can Dance.

She is a Visual Arts Major and has been taking formal dance lessons within various styles including tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop and contemporary since she was 3 years old.




Meredith Patterson After gracing the Showstopper stage numerous times from 1990-1993, with Dance Connection Performing Arts Centre in Concord, CA; Meredith has grown to become a bright star of Broadway. She had the lead role as 'Peggy Sawyer' in the New Broadway Revival of 42ND STREET and is on her way to becoming part of the next generation of leading ladies.

Meredith stars as Judy Haynes in "Irving Berlin's White Christmas" on Broadway at The Marquis Theater in the heart of Time Square.




Sandra McCoy competed in Showstopper competitions with Suzanne's Dancers in San Jose, CA. Since then she has been in leading roles in movies such as "Rough Diamonds" and "Cry Wolf". Sandra has also been in music videos for N*Sync, Gene Simmons, Justin Timberlake, and Fountains of Wayne, just to name a few. She is also in prints for companies like Maxim, Nintendo, and Shape Magazine! Sandra is definitely pursuing her career and has accomplished many goals. Keltie Colleen is proud to continue the legacy as one of the world's famous Radio City Rockettes. She appeared as a principle dancer in the Disney movie "Enchanted" starring Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams.Recently, Keltie choreographed the "Green Light" video for John legend (featuring Andre 3000). She also shot print ads for both Capezio and Bodyglow by DEX new york.

Keltie has appeared in performances and music videos alongside Kanye West, Fergie, Ben Stiller, Panic At the Disco, Editors, Gym Class Heroes, Sean-Paul, Enrique Iglesias, Kelly Pickler, Luis Miguel, Jade Jagger, Cubus and Collective Soul.




Melissa Smith
Melissa is an Canadian pop singer, actress, choreographer and model. She has made reality TV appearances on Making The Band 3 and Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search For the Next Doll.

More recently, she has become a solo singer and released her first single "I Believe" on iTunes on June 10th 2008. She then landed a lead role in an action movie starring and directed by Dolph Lundgren called Command Performance in which she plays Venus, a big music star. Her song Lost In Love will also feature in the film.




Tiler Peck
After winning many Showstopper Awards, including the West Coast Solo Champion, Tiler has jumped right into the business. Tiler has co-starred in "Donnie Darko" and "Geppato",and has performed as Clara in the Radio City Rockette Christmas Spectacular. She portrayed Gracie Shinn in "The Music Man" on Broadway. Tiler has been promoted to the rank of soloist with the New York City Ballet!

Since joining New York City Ballet, Tiler has performed featured roles in George Balanchine's Divertimento No. 15, A Midsummer Night's Dream, George Balanchine's The NutCracker, and Symphony in C. She has also performed in Jerome Robbins' Mother Goose and Peter Martins' Swan Lake. Tiler originated featured roles in Peter Martins' Friandises and The Red Violin.




Adriana Falcon a previous Showstopper's competitor in Worcester, MA and Myrtle Beach, SC. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, where she served as a captain on the UMASS Dance Team, Adriana made her way to New York. She was accepted into the internship program at the Broadway Dance Center, studying under Ginger Cox. She soon joined Cox's LiNK dance company and has since performed at various events including the International Dance Festival in New York, and On with the Dance, benefiting Dancer's Responding to Aids. She was a featured dancer in the opening ceremonies for the U.S. Open, Spain's Le Cirque-The Company, as well as the Future Stars Gala for CMI Productions. She has also served as a choreographer and actor on several independent films and is working with Bloch footwear to develop new dance shoes for both the student and professional dancer. Most recently Adriana was selcted to be one of the 12 talented hopefuls competing on the new Bravo series "Step It Up & Dance".



Travis Wall
Travis has appeared on the Showstopper American Dance Championships Television Show, while dancing for Denise Wall's Dance Energy. He also performed for two year on Broadway in the Music Man. Travis designs many of his own costumes and clothing. More recently, Travis competed in FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance" competition. He performed on "Dancing with the Stars" with Wade Robson. He was also the choreographer for the auditions for the 4th Season of "So You Think You CAn Dance". Look out for this talented star!



Brian Friedman
This former Showstopper participant is best known as a judge on Fox’s #1 hit show “so you think you can dance?” , Brian is taking the dance world by storm! Choreography credits include Britney Spears, Usher, Beyonce, Prince, Mya, *NSync, Pink, Aaron Carter, Ashanti, Hilary Duff, Christina Milian, Paris Hilton, That 70’s Show, Will & Grace, and Ellen Degeneres. Blake McGrath, a former Showstopper winner, has moved on to a professional dance career. He has accomplished so much since his days with Showstopper. Some of Blake's accomplishments are: Signing a two year contract with Janet Jackson for videos and her upcoming 2006 World Tour, appearing in October 2006 on the reality TV show "Dancelife" produced by Jennifer Lopez on MTV, appearance with Janet Jackson on the "Oprah" show on September 26th 2006, a finalist on the first season of "So You Think You Can Dance" in 2005, appearance in the movie "Rent" in 2005, and appearance on the cover of Dance Spirit Magazine in December 2006. Blake has already achieved so much in his career. Watch out for this talented star!

 

Joey Csiki is a past winner of the Showstopper Myrtle Beach National TV Show in 1994 and 1995. He has danced for numerous companies such as The Canadian Dance Company, Du Captitale Ballet in Toulouse France, Princess Grace Academy in Monaco, and The Hong Kong Ballet. Dancing has taken Joey through out many countries like Europe, Central America, Asia, and the USA. He also was nominated for the Nijinsky Award funded by the Princess Grace Foundation in Monaco 2004. Be ready for even more great news from this talented person.

 

Kristin McQuaid competed in Showstopper competitions for years. She is currently living in Los Angeles, CA where she is pursuing her career in dance and acting. Kristin has done numerous commercials and plays as "Suzanne" on American Dreams. Kristin has also danced with Prince, Britney Spears, and Mandy Moore. Be ready to hear more from this up and coming star!!!

 

Lisa Maietta - A former Showstopper participant is enjoying a successful Musical Theatre career. She was seen on the European Tour of GREASE (performed in Germany!), the National Tour of GREASE, starring Frankie Avalon and Chubby Checker. She was featured in the roles of Frenchy and Cha-Cha. She has performed in numerous regional theatres including Mill Mountain Theatre, Gateway Playhouse, Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre, and much more. She has performed in Theme Parks, Cabarets, Video, and Film. When home in NYC, Lisa enjoys teaching and choreographing. Her choreography credits include Grease, The Wiz, The Music Man, Pirates of Penzance, Godspell, and Little Shop of Horrors.

 

Emily Kuhns
Emily competed at Showstopper for many years. She was an overall solo winner at Regional Competitions and was on the television show for the National Finals in 2002, performing in the Opening Number and a top group. Emily graduated from Oklahoma City University with a degree in Dance Performance. She has danced in "The Shoji Tabuchi Show" in Branson, MO and this past year was in "Jubilee!" at Bally's Las Vegas. Watch out for this up & coming star!

 

Quinton Weathers grew up in Austin,Texas where he competed with Body Talk Dance Company. He won Jr. & Sr. overall soloist, Duet/Trio with group numbers from 1991-1999, and placed in the Top 5 at the 1995 National Finals with his lyrical solo. He lived in Los Angeles for five years where he worked with artists Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue, Anastacia, Yasmeen, Solange Knowles, Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard to name a few. He has also done commercials, industrials and print So You Think You Can Dance, I-pod, Motorola, Nintendo, 7-Up, Pepsi, Nike, Diesel and Trading Spaces. His TV and film credits include Dreamgirls, Adam and Steve, Honey, Varsity Blues, Nickelodeon's All That and Taina, Soul Train and the opening ceremonies for the 2002 Paralympics. Quinton has taught master classes all over the United States, Japan and Korea. He has recently moved back to Austin, Texas and has opened his own dance studio The Dance Spot!

 

Charissa Seaman
Charissa has been a "Britney Spears Dancer" for the past 3 years, dancing alongside Britney in every video, television appearance and awards show.She has toured the world with Britney and N'SYNC, and has made various other TV, Film, and Commercial appearances. Before hitting it big, Charissa was a Showstopper National Winner dancing with Southern Strut Dance Studio in Columbia, SC.

Aaron Carter
Nick and Aaron both sharpened their dance moves on the Showstopper Stage before going on to become the pop superstars they are now. Nick is traveling the world with the pop group The Backstreet Boys, and Aaron is coming into his own as a hot new pop singer and dancer.



Wes Hart was a Showstopper dancer for many years with Peggy's Hart's School of Dance. Wes is now pursuing a Music Theatre degree from Oklahoma City University (OCU) and is a member of the Nationally Acclaimed "American Spirit Dance Company" under the direction of Jo Rowen. He also studies dance (tap) with the one and only Robert Reed. Wes is currently on the Vice-President's Honor Roll at OCU with a 3.9 GPA. Wes has had several lead and supporting lead roles in many musicals/plays/operas. Wes' regional theatre credits include: "West Side Story", "A Chorus Line", "Footloose", and "Wizard of Oz" with Lyric Theatre; "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Annie Get Your Gun", "Me and My Girl", "West Side Story", and Disney's "Beauty and the Beast", with Music Theatre of Wichita.

Lance Bass -
NSYNC's bass singer is a former Showstopper contestant from Laurel, Mississippi! With NSYNC, Lance has performed alongside such stars as Celine Dion and Gloria Estefan, but singing isn't his only talent! He has made his acting debut on the WB television show "7th Heaven" and own his own music and film produciton company! Catch him on the VH-1 show "Driven"!

 

Curtis Holbrook
Curtis was a midwest standout while dancing with Pat Holbrook's Commotion Dance Company. Curtis performed with "Footloose" on Broadway and the "Footloose Touring Company" in lead roles. He then went on to join the cast of "Fosse" on Broadway and also the touring company of "Fosse" where he was one of three performers dancing and singing the original legendary choreography of "Steam Heat". Curtis is currently an original cast member of a new hit Broadway Show "Radiant Baby", choreographed by Fatima from Los Angeles. Curtis competed at Showstopper since the age of 5, winning 1st place and overall awards. Other credits include TV's LA Law. More recently, Curtis has been in the cast of the Broadway show "Taboo" and one of the ensemble in "The Boy from Oz", starring Hugh Jackman in Broadway. Curtis also performed a lead in the broadway musical "All Shook Up". Now he will be in "Follies" on Broadway beginning January 8th, 2007. Curtis will be in the new movie "Hairspray" which will be in theaters July 2007.




Rachel Ross
Rachel has graced the Showstopper stage many times winning numerous awards including Showstopper Television Show Champions and National Photogenic Winner. She is now a professional make up artist, and model. Rachel is soon coming out with her own line of makeup. She has danced at The Celebrity Theater in Myrtle Beach,SC. She now lives in L.A. and has worked on "So You Think You Can Dance", "The Young and The Restless", "The Bold and The Beautiful", and many other TV shows as a make-up artist.


Alessondra Valdes
Alessondra competed on the Showstopper Stage at the San Mateo Regional Competition. Since then you can now see her as a Disney Princess at Disneyland in California. Watch out for this upcoming star!
